  The setting for this story is, The Institute For Addictive Behaviour. We witness the arrival of two new inmates, Burns and Mathews. They are met at the door by the head nurse, who takes them to meet matron. They are issued with their uniforms, which consists of a medical robe that fastens at the back, and underwear. They are then both subjected to a medical examination, culminating in an intimate, and humiliating cavity search, to make sure they are not bringing any drugs into the institute. When the search has been completed, they are told that they must follow the rules, and any infraction of the rules, will lead to severe punishment. To illustrate what she means, Matron administers a sound spanking to both girls by way of a welcome, but warns them that they can expect much worse should they get caught. She also tells them that they must instantly obey all members of staff, and should they hear the word “Inspection,” no matter where they are, they must instantly stop whatever they are doing, hold the back of their gowns open so they can be inspected. Both girls are of a rebellious nature, and soon get into argument with the nurse, who they attack. The nurse reports them to matron, who administers a sound strapping. Matron arrives, and sensing that Burns is the ringleader she decides to make an example of her. She begins, by administering eighteen hard strokes of the cane. She then moves onto Matthew’s, who also receives eighteen strokes. Both girls are very distressed, but that doesn’t stop matron from finishing off the punishment, by giving Burns a further twenty four strokes.

She informs Mrs Hunter Ford that in her opinion, she learned nothing on her last visit, and a further lesson seems appropriate. The proud lady implores Miss Chambers to punish her privately, but to no avail, and she has to suffer to indignity of lifting her skirt, and lowering her knickers in front of her daughter, to receive a more severe punishment than she did. A harder spanking, a longer strapping, and a much, much more severe caning, is administered to Mrs. Hunter Ford's magnificent bottom.

Doing Hard Time
  Set in a women's prison, two prisoners are brought before a disciplinary committee headed by a magistrate. The senior prison officer informs the committee that both girls were caught in possession of drugs. When one of the officers attempted to search the girls, they attacked her. Mrs. Hamilton the magistrate is outraged, and sentences both girls to corporal punishment. One girl is sentenced to thirty strokes with the strap, and thirty strokes with the cane. The other girl who was the ringleader, is sentenced to fifty strokes with the strap, and fifty strokes with the cane. The chief officer suggest to the committee that the girls might still be in possession of some drugs, and Mrs. Hamilton orders the guards to search them. Each girl in turn is ordered to bend over whilst the guards put on their rubber gloves. The prisoners skirts are lifted, and their knickers are pulled down. The Head guard, then subject them to a embarrassing search for hidden contraband. When she is satisfied that they have none, Mrs. Hamilton instruct the prison doctor to check that the girls are fit to receive their punishment. They are made to wait, then ordered to go to the toilet before being brought back in front of the committee, to receive their punishment. The first girl is ordered to bend over the punishment bench where she is restrained. The head officer, then the second officer take up a strap each and proceed to carry out the sentence whilst a prison official counts out the number, This is repeated with the second girl.  The first girl is then placed over the punishment bench and restrained again, and then her caning begins. Both girls are given a very severe caning indeed.
